Suddenly I knew exactly what to do. After pondering during a few days the pros and cons and ifs and listened to the doubts, I took a decision: YES, I’ll take up that challenge and write 30 blog posts during 30 days. Why? Because it’s a means to the end to spread my message (and my love), because it incites me to ‘stretch’ and to grow – and because I love to write.

Beginning of the journey

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” ― Lao Tzu

Let’s give it a go then. When writing and publishing a post like this I often face the challenge how to find the balance between creating content that is really useful for actual and potential readers of this blog, sharing authentic bits and parts of my life and experience that could exemplify this and – very important to me – having fun along the way.

During my morning routine, while I let my thoughts float, suddenly the headline ‘spread love, be bold, have fun’ popped up in my mind – and I felt a shift in my body. “This is it. This is the starting point. I could do it. I can do it. I can make it easy and fun. Let’s do it,” the stream of discursive thinking went on.

And now, I get eventually to the point dear reader: Once you’ve got this shift, all you have to do is… do it. Pass to action swiftly! That’s how it works.

Your turn now

What is it that you’ve been pondering about for a while, not sure, somehow unwilling to take a stand and say clearly YES or NO?

What if you knew the answer?

Imagine yourself saying ‘yes’ and taking the necessary action to achieve this one goal. What shift will you get, immediately, in a week, a month, a year? How far could it take you, if you were bold enough to take this first step NOW and say YES to something you fancy doing and you know you can make it fun (even if it will take work and you’ll have to put effort into it)?

Are you still hesitating?

Then imagine yourself in 6 months from now, if you don’t take any action at all. What if you stop pondering, if you let go… ?

Maybe this makes things worse? Maybe you can feel a new lightness and relieve, less pressure, more freedom? And where will you be and how will you feel in 3 years from now?

If you know your life’s purpose and mission, this may give you an easy to remember inner compass. When you know your personal North, your mindbody can always tell you, if a YES will support you to move on in the right direction .

444 words already. The lady who kicked my a… and started this challenge suggests to keep it short and juicy.
